Schedule
The Schedule tab tracks your project’s milestones — the big markers like “Foundation complete” or “Dry-in” — and shows them on a timeline alongside the tasks that feed them.
Milestones
Each milestone has a name and a target date. When the work is done, mark the milestone complete and record the completion date.
Managers and admins create and edit milestones. Everyone on the project can view the schedule.
Gantt Chart (Web)
The Schedule tab on web shows a Gantt chart: milestones and their linked tasks laid out on a timeline, with markers for the project start and end dates. It’s a quick read on where the job stands and what’s coming.
Linking Tasks to Milestones
Link a task to a milestone in either place:
- Open the task and set the milestone in its edit form
- Or link it from the schedule view
Percent Complete
Milestone percent complete is calculated automatically from its linked tasks — no manual updates. Tasks are weighted by their budgeted labor hours from cost codes, so bigger scopes of work move the needle more. Knocking out a 400-hour scope counts for more than a 10-hour punch item.
Tasks without a milestone still work fine. Linking just adds them to the schedule rollup.
Setting Up Your First Milestones
- Go to your project’s Schedule tab on web
- Add a milestone for each major phase — mobilization, structure, dry-in, finishes, closeout
- Give each one a target date
- Open your key tasks and link each to its milestone
- Watch the Gantt chart — percent complete updates as tasks get done
Start with a handful of milestones. You can always add more as the job develops.
Schedule on iOS
The iOS app shows a view-only schedule timeline: open the project, then go to the Project tab → Schedule. Creating and editing milestones happens on web.
