Mobile App Setup

The LogLoon mobile app is designed for field workers to clock in, view tasks, and capture progress photos—all with minimal taps.

First-Time Setup

You don’t need a web account first. Everything works from the app.

New to LogLoon?

  1. Open the app and swipe through the short tour
  2. Tap Get Started
  3. Enter your name, email, and password
  4. Set up your company: name and timezone

Invited by your company?

  1. Open the app and tap Get Started
  2. Sign up with the email address your invitation was sent to
  3. You land in your company automatically — no company setup needed

Your First Run

Where you start depends on your role:

  • Company creators land on the Project tab with a get-started screen. Create your first project — common cost codes are one tap, or skip them and LogLoon sets up a General Labor code so clock-in works. Or open the sample project to explore.
  • Crew members land on the Time tab with a big Clock In button.

Key Features for Field Workers

Clock In/Out

The large green Clock In button is front and center. One tap starts your day. When you’re done, tap Clock Out.

View Tasks

See all tasks assigned to you for the current project. Tap a task to mark progress or add notes.

Capture Photos

Take photos directly from the app. Photos captured in the app burn the date, time, and project name into the image — proof of when and where the shot was taken.

View Plans

Access construction drawings uploaded by your office. Pinch to zoom and swipe between sheets. On iPad, swipe between sheets the same as on iPhone.

Working Offline

Download a project’s plans from the Plans screen before you head to a dead zone.

Once downloaded, you can work with no signal:

  • View, zoom, and mark up plans
  • Pin tasks to the floor plan
  • Clock in and out

Everything syncs automatically when coverage returns. Photos need a connection to upload. Manage downloads in Company → Offline Storage.

Troubleshooting

”Invalid credentials” error

Make sure you’re using the email address where you received your LogLoon invitation. Forgot your password? Use the Forgot Password link on the login screen — a short cooldown applies before you can resend the reset email. New to LogLoon? Tap Get Started to create an account right in the app.

App won’t open or crashes

  1. Make sure your iOS is up to date (iOS 18 or later required)
  2. Try deleting and reinstalling the app
  3. Contact team@logloon.com if issues persist
