Time Tracking

Time tracking in LogLoon is designed to be as simple as possible for field workers while capturing all the data you need.

Clocking In

When a field worker opens the app, they see a large green Clock In button. One tap and they’re on the clock.

What Happens on Clock In

  • Current time is recorded
  • GPS location is captured
  • Worker selects a project and cost code

Project Selection

If a worker has scheduled assignments for today, those appear first. Otherwise, they can select from any project they’re assigned to.

During the Day

While clocked in, workers see an active timer showing their current hours. They can:

  • Take breaks using the Start Break / End Break buttons
  • Add photos to document their work
  • Select equipment they’re using

Break Tracking

Breaks are tracked separately from work time:

  1. Tap Start Break (orange button)
  2. Break timer shows elapsed break time
  3. Tap End Break to resume work
  4. Total break time is recorded on the time entry

Clocking Out

At the end of the day:

  1. Tap Clock Out
  2. Answer two quick questions:
    • “Is your timecard accurate?”
    • “Any injuries to report?”
  3. Entry is submitted for approval

Time Entry Editing

Only Admins and Managers can edit time entries, and only before they’re approved. Once approved, entries are locked.
