Time Exports
Once time is approved, you can export it to your payroll or accounting system.
Export Options
LogLoon supports multiple export formats:

| Sage 100 Contractor | Import-ready format for Sage 100 |
| Sage 300 CRE | Import-ready format for Sage 300 |
Manual Export
CSV Export
- Go to the Time tab
- Click Export
- Select the date range
- Choose CSV format
- Click Download
The CSV includes all approved time entries with:
- Employee name and email
- Date and hours worked
- Project name
- Cost code
- Clock in/out times
QuickBooks / Sage Export
- Go to Company → Integrations
- Connect your QuickBooks or Sage account
- Map your cost codes to the external system
- Go to Time → Export
- Select the date range
- Choose your integration
- Click Export
Scheduled Exports
Set up automatic exports to run weekly:
- Go to Company → Settings
- Find Scheduled Exports
- Enable the schedule
- Choose:
- Day of week - When to run (e.g., Monday)
- Time - What hour to send
- Recipients - Email addresses to receive the export
- Click Save
What Gets Exported
Scheduled exports include all approved time from the previous week (Monday-Sunday).
No Data Notification
If there’s no approved time for the period, you’ll receive an email letting you know the export ran but found no entries. This confirms the schedule is working.
Troubleshooting
”Export has 0 entries”
Check that:
- Time entries are approved (not just pending)
- The date range is correct
- You have the right project/user filters
QuickBooks sync errors
Common issues:
- Token expired - Reconnect your QuickBooks account
- Employee not found - Map LogLoon users to QBO employees
- Cost code mismatch - Update your cost code mappings
Sage import fails
Verify:
- File format matches your Sage version
- Cost codes exist in Sage
- Employee IDs are correctly mapped
