Photos
Document your project progress with photos taken directly from the LogLoon mobile app. Photos are automatically organized and can be filtered by source.
Capturing Photos (Mobile)
The mobile app provides batch photo capture with a live camera preview:
- Tap the camera button
- Take multiple photos using the capture button
- Review your photos—swipe to navigate, tap the X to remove any
- Add optional descriptions to individual photos
- Tap Done when finished
Photo Destinations
After capturing photos, choose where they go:

|---|---|
| Project Photos | Save directly to the project’s photo gallery |
| Create Task | Create a new task with these photos attached |
| Add to Existing Task | Attach photos to a task as a comment |
You can also select photos from your device’s photo library instead of using the camera.
Photo Details
Each photo is automatically tagged with:
- Date and time of upload
- User who took/uploaded it
- Source type (manual upload, daily report, or task comment)
- Description (optional, user-added)
Viewing Photos
Web App
The Photos tab displays all project photos in a responsive grid:
- Filter tabs to view by source:
- All Photos
- Uploaded (manual uploads)
- Daily Reports (photos from daily reports)
- Task Comments (photos from task comments)
- Lightbox viewer - click any photo to view full-size
- Navigate with arrow keys or on-screen buttons
- See uploader name and timestamp
- Edit description or delete (your own photos)
Mobile App
Browse and view photos in the app. Pinch to zoom on any image.
Using Photos in Reports
Photos can be included in all report types:
- Daily Reports - Document the day’s work (auto-populates from time entries)
- Progress Reports - Show current project conditions
- Task Reports - Optional photo documentation
Each report can include up to 10 photos. You can pull photos from:
- Camera (capture new)
- Photo library
- Existing project photos
Limits
- Max file size: 10 MB per image (automatically compressed)
- Max per report/comment: 10 photos
- Photo storage counts toward your plan’s total storage limit
